TR Chantilly Kid “Chanel” is an extremely well-trained Arabian/AQHA western pleasure mare who also excels in dressage, hunter, working equitation, and ranch riding and on the trails. Our daughter is going away to college soon, and we are offering this mare to a loving family who can enjoy her in the show ring and/or for pleasure riding. Our primary consideration is finding the right wonderful person/family for this beloved and priceless mare.

Chanel is an excellent equine partner for a beginner, as well as a more experienced rider. She is stunning in both western and dressage/hunter tack and is an extremely willing, reliable, and honest horse. While Chanel is a 2004 mare, she looks and acts like she is much younger and should have many great years ahead of her. She has been an exceptional personal show, pleasure, and trail riding partner to our daughter. Chanel has great movement and conformation. She trailers, clips, ties, hauls, etc. super well and does not have any vices.

Chanel comes from a long and well-established heritage of great riding and performance horses on both sides of her pedigree. Her sire Ima Dun Kid is by the incredibly successful and handsome NRHA Hall of Fame AQHA stallion Hollywood Dun It, who is an earner of over $65,000 and an NRHA Six Million Dollar Sire. Hollywood Dun It was by the great Hollywood Jac 86, out of Blossom Berry, a daughter of Dun Berry. During his show career, Hollywood Dun It was National Reining Horse Association Futurity Reserve Champion, NRHA Derby Champion and Superstakes Champion. Offspring of Hollywood Dun It are renowned for their attractive looks and extreme trainability. They have won the NRHA Futurity, Derby and Superstakes, National Reining Breeders Classic, All American Quarter Horse Congress Futurity, Southwest Reining Horse Association Futurity, Tradition Futurity, and numerous others around the world. Chanel is out of the Arabian mare Hilonia HCF, who has many of the Arabian breed greats in her pedigree, including *Padron, *Serafix, Strike, *Aladdinn, *El Paso, and *Bask ++.

These lines are well known for producing top athletic ability, beauty, and type. Hilonia HCF has produced multiple Performance and Halter winners at the Regional and National level.
